4:15pm FTD Disorders Registry Dianna Wheaton, MS, PhD Dr. Wheaton joined the field of FTD research as Director of the FTD Disorders Registry in January, 2016. She obtained her MS degree in Biology (Genetic Counseling) from the University of North Texas; and her PhD in Health Studies (Community/Population Health) from the Texas Woman’s University. Dianna has more than 20 years of clinical science research experience and is the former Director of the Southwest Eye Registry where she conducted genetic studies to identify disease-causing genes, identified potential patients for clinical trials, and provided genetic counseling to patients and at-risk family members.
